They Went Full Supernatural

With five weeks until the release of Doctor Strange Agents of Shield has made it clear that they will be exploring magic and the supernatural and this episode had created so many questions that will make people keep watching. The relationship between Daisy and Robbie seems to be growing despite another confrontation that led to Quake and Ghost Rider running in to Fitz and Mack. They were investigating video footage of a ghost entering into someones body which led them to this building with a family of ghost who we still don’t understand what happened to them and what they are after. There seems to be some greater force behind these occurrences that has something to do with Robbie and an arms race. The interaction between Daisy and Robbie has been great and it seems like a relationship is developing but, there really is no controlling the spirit of vengeance. I expect to see a major crossover with Doctor Strange in November and then pivoting to the bigger villain that is behind all this stuff happening.

The New Boss is an Inhuman

boss

Coulson and the New Director

The big tease of the season finale last season and the first episode this season was “Who is the new Boss”. Well we finally got to meet him and he was a bit of a dick. But, at first glance he does seem to be good and it seems that Coulson had something to do with picking him. We found out that Coulson did not want the job anymore but we don’t know why he choose to step down. This is a mystery that I actually think will pay off down the road and it had to be something big to cause Coulson to want to be an agent again. However, it seems like Coulson thinks he should have some type of inside access that the new boss will not give him. Then the big reveal that the new director is an inhuman is very interesting because at this point we don’t know exactly what his powers are and if he is from the comic books or a new character. His back story and motives will be explored as the season goes on but this show was a good follow up to an action packed episode one to push the character development forward and create some intrigue behind so many unanswered questions.
